Tomatoes- Pineapple Tomatillo
- Grows wonderfully in Zone 4. This tends to bush out to twice the width but half the height of a traditional tomato plant. If you put it in a tomato cage you can train it to grow upwards, which will make it look very similar to a tomato plant.
- Grows in paper husks, and drops off the plant when near ripe. Collect off of the ground, then remove the wrapper and consume when the husk is dry.
- Delicious! About the size of a hazelnut, they taste like sweet pineapple, especially when baked. You can make pineapple pizza without pineapples, which might be a great thing for someone allergic to pineapple! Also great for those who can't grow their own pineapple.
