This was one of my first paintings ever. But memories are funny. When I look at it casually* I think it was the most fun thing I ever painted. It had to be, since it was a character from a comic book that I adored.
In reality, I remember it being about 10pm at night and I had a painting assignment due for the morning. I had spent all morning at my job, then all day at school, then all night at my other job. I had to do something CREATIVE? AAARRRGGGHHHHH! Every stroke of the brush was done with resentment and anger.
It's still one of my favorite pieces.
*Mind you, I purposefully left the flash reflection from the camera in this picture. I am not going to bother fixing it. Because IDGAF.
