Captain Phasma, so Shiny and Chrome

She was so inspiring in Star Wars that I had to paint her in early 2018. Painting a representation of chrome terrified me. I am happy with it, but f I do a large painting I will work on adding reflections.

However shockingly, the chrome wasn't the difficult or time-consuming part. I am never painting the First Order without making a stencil again. It made me momentarily regret my preference for freehand. The symbol took many hours more than Captain Phasma herself. Many swears died that night.

I also learned that I either need to get much better at painting fine lines, or I need to just accept defeat and use markers. That circle within the symbol was nearly as difficult as the spires. Learn from my regrets, this painting was fun when completing Captain Phasma, and the symbol was 100% pain and misery.
